The Fetch Terms of Service

Welcome to The Fetch’s Terms of Service agreement. Please review the following document carefully, and understand that it is a legally binding contract between you and The Fetch. By using and/or its Service, as defined in our Privacy Policy, you signify that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to follow these terms, you should not sign up for The Fetch or use its Service. We reserve the right to make changes to the site and to these terms. Throughout this document shorthand may be used for clearer communication. The definitions in the Privacy Policy shall apply in these terms of service. When we say “site,” or “service,” we mean and the services provided through that site. When we use “we,” “The Fetch,” “us,” or “our,” we are referring to THEFETCH INC., a California-based corporation. When we say “The Fetch content,” we are specifying copyrightable text, media, graphics, and other materials produced and owned by THEFETCH INC. Lastly, when we say “terms,” we mean these terms of service.

Using The Fetch

The Fetch is a guide for discovering professional events. We curate events, news, jobs and articles on our site, email and social channels. The Fetch is appropriate and intended for all ages, but we do not accept responsibility for any content links that may contain information not suitable for those younger than 18. Furthermore, we are not responsible for the availability of the content we link to.

You must not submit spam links to our event submission form. You must not self-promote events in social media groups we have created for the specified purpose of discussion about or in relation to The Fetch. You must not post information that is malicious, false or inaccurate, or content that is copyrighted or subject to third party proprietary rights (unless you are the owner). Failure to comply with these rules may result in the removal of membership from any social media group belonging to The Fetch.

Copyright Policy

On The Fetch, all content, the selection, compilation, arrangement and presentation of all materials, and the overall design of the site are copyrighted by us, and are protected by U.S. and international laws. Use of any of this content without our expressed written consent prior to use is strictly prohibited. You must abide by all additional copyright notices or restrictions contained in this Service.

You retain ownership of any content you write and submit to our blog. However, it should be noted that by sharing your content with us you are granting us a nonexclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to access, use, and display said content in connection with our site and the services which it provides you. The Fetch reserves the right to remove any User Content from the Service at its discretion.


While we agree to do our best to protect the security, privacy, and information of our users, The Fetch cannot guarantee that unauthorized third-parties may break through our security measures and gain access to your information. Third-Party Sites

You agree to be aware that our content may be used on third-party sites for advertising purposes and media partnerships. No party, whether an individual or a third-party, may use the contents and content of The Fetch without our expressed consent, or in any way that infringes on our rights or copyright. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of content shared by those companies who advertise with The Fetch. If you access any third-party sites by way of The Fetch we are not responsible for any viruses, spam, or problems tangible or intangible arising from your interaction with said third-party site.

Limitations of Liability

To the greatest extent imaginable, The Fetch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, unique, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, that may result from your ability to access or inability to access The Fetch, be it the blog, newsletter, or any other future forms of the service we provide.

We do not warrant that The Fetch will be uninterrupted or error-free (though we will do our best). On occasion there may be delays in sending, sharing, omissions, inaccuracies, or interruptions.

You agree to recognize that The Fetch has no influence over acquiring or reserving tickets for any of the events we include in our newsletter, whether paid or free, and we do not hold responsibility if you are unable to obtain a ticket to an event. You hereby agree that The Fetch is liable for any tangible or intangible harm incurred by attending or being unable to attend an event we have promoted in any capacity, whether it be paid or free.


By using the site you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Fetch and its affiliates, and their respective members, directors, officers, managers, employees, shareholders, agents, and licensors, from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation by you of this Agreement in any way related to (a) your access to or use of our Products, (b) your User Content, or (c) your breach of any of these Terms.


The Fetch maintains the right to terminate your subscription to our site. Upon termination, you are still to be bound to this document.

Modification of the Terms of Service

We can amend these Terms of Service at any time and will update these Terms of Service in the event of any such amendments. It is your sole responsibility to check the Site from time to time to view any such changes in the Agreement. If you continue to use the Site, you signify your agreement to our revisions to these Terms of Service. However, we will notify you of material chances to the terms by posting a notice on our website and/or sending an email to the email address you provided to us upon registration. For this additional reason, you should keep your contact and profile information current. Any changes to these terms (other than as set forth in this paragraph) or waiver of the The Fetch’s rights hereunder shall not be valid or effective except in a written agreement bearing the physical signature of an officer of The Fetch. No purported waiver or modification of the Terms of Service by the company via telephonic or email communications shall be valid.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. By continuing to use our Service, The Fetch, you agree to abide by the Terms of this agreement.
